I finally solved water leaking into the hatch floor and rear driver side floor (2011 SL). The foam weatherstripping around the cabin vents at the rear bumper was degraded and slipped out. I removed them and filled the space with butyl tape. Finally fixed after years of living with a swampy, fogged up car.
Removing the bumper was quick. I watched a YouTube video.
